Edit button confusion in admin interface

In the admin interface /admin, the "Edit" button is playing dual functionality by also acting as the validation icon. This creates confusion and makes it difficult to understand how to validate the role assigned to a user. We could add a button to validate changes.

Alternatively we could easily replace the edit button with a checkmark when in edit mode, to make it more obvious.
